About The Elevate Prize Foundation

Founded by Joseph Deitch in 2019, the Elevate Prize Foundation is a global nonprofit on a mission to Make Good Famous. To ensure lasting impact, the organization is committed to bringing visibility to the work of changemakers, creating a fanbase for good, and inspiring action on an international scale.

Currently, the Elevate Prize Foundation has 3 main initiatives:

1. The Elevate Prize Awarded annually, the Prize recognizes ten best-in-class social impact leaders driving change around the world. It’s designed to maximize their impact, champion their organization, and to shift the culture to help create a world where more people are inspired to take action.

2. The Elevate Prize Catalyst AwardThe award recognizes prominent individuals who use their influence to drive socialaction, providing $250,000 in unrestricted funding to deepen their impact and anadditional investment put towards a content partnership to further inspire and catalyzechange. To date, recipients include Trevor Noah, George and Amal Clooney, MalalaYousafzai, Michael J. Fox, Matt Damon and, most recently, NBA Hall of Famer andentrepreneur, Dwyane Wade.

3. The Elevate Prize Get Loud Award The Elevate GET LOUD Award is a monthly grant fueling community-based movements and organizers on the frontlines committed to collective action and building power among communities. Instagram-based and with nominations open to the public, the award is disrupting the traditional philanthropic model and democratizing change.

The Opportunity

The Elevate Prize Foundation is seeking a top tier fund development professional to build the Foundation’s fundraising capacity. With a desire to expand program offerings and create opportunities for others to join the movement, the Director of Development will build on existing partnerships and seek out relationships that align with the Foundation’s vision and mission. By bringing other likeminded individuals into the fold, the Director of Development will help build on Joseph Deitch’s original vision to Make Good Famous. With the Elevate Prize Foundation’s strong team and infrastructure, the Director of Development will be an important leader in this next phase of the Foundation’s growth.

Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer, the Director of Development will serveas a key leadership team member and an active participant in making strategicdecisions affecting the Elevate Prize Foundation. In partnership with the CEO andleadership team, this position will lead fundraising and revenue related partnershipopportunities. The successful candidate will help forge new relationships to continuebuilding and elevating the Elevate Prize Foundation’s impact and resources.
