Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for either a Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst (Level 3) or Senior Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA, but may consider candidates based in Palmdale, CA. The selected candidate will support the Air Dominance F-35 team to meet the goals and objectives of the AS Business Management organization.

Essential Functions :

• Strategizes, develops, and manages comprehensive export / import authorizations to ensure compliance with US and foreign regulations
• Follows business processes pertaining to export / import requirements and all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations
• Establishes and maintains relations with appropriate government regulatory agencies and internal customers
• Assures trade compliance through gate reviews for technical data, foreign travel, foreign visits and export and import shipments
• Support internal trade compliance assessments and audits, including required documentation preparation and reviews with management, auditors, and legal counsel
• Maintains applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements
