Position Purpose Provide day to day manufacturing operations support as part of Lean management team. Problem solve process roadblocks to meeting daily business objectives. Develop solutions for incremental continuous improvement priorities. Maintain process work instructions ensuring that any process changes are accurately reflected. Support and manage performance of two Document Control Assistants. Primary Responsibilities Team member within cross-functional Lean daily management teams focused on ensuring flow is maintained through production lines. Responsible for ensuring work instructions and standard work are documented for each process step Leads process continuous improvement projects driven by business goals for safety, quality, delivery and cost in collaboration with manufacturing team ensuring projects are complete on time and within budget. Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout. Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaborating and cohesion. Position Requirements 3 years of experience in various engineering fields relating to mechanical design, manufacturing and process development 3 years project management in a manufacturing environment BS degree (Mechanical or manufacturing engineering field strongly preferred) Proficient in Vision, Microsoft Office and MS Project AutoCad or ProE experience Technical report writing skills Travel as required PIQ Wellbeing Wellbeing is more than a catchphrase - it's a movement that permeates our company and through our team members.
