Legent Health is looking for PAT / Preop / PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. We seek talented partners transforming healthcare, one patient at a time.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current and active CPR certification.
• Current and valid nursing license, in good standing with the State licensing board.
• 2-3 Years' experience as a in critical care nursing required.
• Cognitive skills as related to the position.

Position Summary

The PAT / PreOp / PACU RN is responsible to handle inbound pre-operative patients to ensure patients receive quality pre-operative screening for our surgical procedures and Post anesthetic care patients emerging from the haze of anesthesia. There are several tasks a PACU nurse needs to perform in a post-operative unit such as guiding patients to consciousness and assisting them in handling personal needs in the first few hours after surgery.

A PAT / PreOp / PACU nurse is important not just for their role as a guide in the outcome of a surgery but also for handling medication administration duties which are very important at this stage. Even though most patients do not remember the PAT / PreOp / PACU nurse that attended to their needs, they play an imperative role in helping patients start on the road to recovery.
