Assistant Engineer I
Salary : $47.85-$53.00 / hrLocation : LA, CASchedule : 9 / 80 hybrid schedule (may be required to work in office 5days per week during training) starting as early as 7 : 00am - 4 : 45pm with every other Friday off.
The Assistant Engineer I will work in a very busy team-oriented environment. The Assistant Engineer I responsibilities will provide support to PWSC for energy and cost analysis, address CAISO metering deficiencies, provide support and cross-training for NERC cy6ersecurity related compliance requirements, and revenue enhancement efforts (see attached justification memo). To be successful in this role, you'll need to : -Learn and assists with planning, coordinating, conducting, and monitoring tests, studies, investigations.-Learn and assists to prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations.-Learn and assists with technical analyses.-Learn and assists to prepare cost estimates and budgets.-Learn and assists with site inspections.-Learn and assists with maintaining official records, documents, and data.
Experience Qualifications : -Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field by hired date.-GENERAL REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OF : Engineering principles and practices in specific discipline; and current office technology and equipment.-GENERAL REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES TO : Analyze and interpret data; organize; problem solve; prioritize and multi-task; communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; work independently and in a team environment; and operate current office equipment including computers and supporting applications.-Personable, Team Player, Flexible, Multitask and handles pressure well.-Detail orient, Organized, Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills a must.-Local Candidates (Southern California)-Defensive Driver Certification-No Cal PERS membership-No H1B candidates
