Job Opportunity : Medical Director - Pediatric Hospitalist

This full-time position offers an exceptional opportunity for a Board Certified Pediatrician to lead the pediatric hospitalist team in a beautiful semi-rural setting, just minutes from the stunning Monterey Bay. Job Responsibilities :

• Serve as the Medical Director for the pediatric hospitalist practice.
• Provide coverage for high-risk deliveries.
• Conduct emergency room consults involving pediatric patients.
• Manage pediatric admissions of low acuity cases.
• Provide well newborn care at the hospital.
• Collaborate with the affiliated Level-III NICU at Good Samaritan Hospital for newborns requiring intensive care.
• Work a full-time schedule consisting of twelve 24-hour shifts per month with on-call responsibilities from home.
• Support a hospital with approximately 500 deliveries annually.
• Engage in a collaborative environment with commuters welcome to apply.
• This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
