Radiology Administration (Full-time, Day Shift) -

The Manager-Radiology leads multiple locations, technologists and ancillary personnel. Regulates scheduling of personnel, work assignments, call schedule and repair of equipment as necessary. Participates in rotational weekend leadership as required. Supervises, inspires and motivates employees. Performs other duties as needed.
Bachelor's Degree in Radiology, or a related field, from a nationally recognized accrediting organization. Three (3) years of experience in Radiology required. One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred. Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine Advance Certification or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) license required. Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required. Additional specialty licensure preferred as applicable. Valid Drivers Licensure required.
Requires initiative and independent judgment. Advanced knowledge of State and Federal regulations. Broad knowledge of quality, patient safety, performance improvement, regulatory requirements, medical staff structure, peer review and legal aspects of care. Knowledge of quality, performance improvement and patient safety programs that are data-driven. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
