We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven International Sales Executive to spearhead our global expansion. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, courting, and closing high-volume distribution deals with international wholesalers and distributors.
You aren't just selling a product; you are building a global footprint for our brand. The ideal candidate understands the complexities of international trade, stays ahead of ever-evolving nicotine regulations, and possesses the "hunter" mentality required to penetrate new markets.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
1. Global Market Development
- Identify Growth Markets: Research and prioritize high-potential regions (e.g., Southeast Asia, EU, Middle East) based on market demand and regulatory feasibility.
- Lead Generation: Proactively source and vet potential B2B partners, including master distributors, regional wholesalers, and large-scale retail chains.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor international competitors’ pricing, product launches, and distribution strategies to maintain our competitive edge.
2. Relationship & Account Management
- Pitching & Negotiation: Conduct high-level presentations and negotiate pricing, credit terms, and exclusivity agreements to secure long-term partnerships.
- Onboarding: Guide new distributors through the initial order process, ensuring they have the marketing assets and product knowledge needed to succeed.
- Account Retention: Act as the primary point of contact for overseas partners, conducting regular "pulse checks" to ensure sales targets are met and inventory is moving.
3. Compliance & Logistics Coordination
- Regulatory Monitoring: Work closely with the legal/compliance team to ensure products meet local standards (e.g., TPD in Europe, PMTA status in the US, or specific nicotine concentration limits).
- Logistics Oversight: Coordinate with the supply chain team to manage international shipping requirements, customs documentation (Incoterms), and lead times.
4. Brand Representation
- Trade Shows: Represent the brand at major international vape expos (e.g., Vapexpo, World Vape Show) to network and generate face-to-face leads.
- Feedback Loop: Collect "boots on the ground" feedback from distributors regarding flavor preferences and hardware trends to inform the R&D team.
