Your Role and Responsibilities :

• Manage and prioritize daily accounts receivable tasks using effective workflow management tools.
• Follow up on all oncology claims from initial billing to final resolution with payers.
• Identify, correct, and resubmit any billing errors.
• Review insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and initiate appeals as necessary.
• Respond promptly to payer and insurance agency documentation requests.
• Post account adjustments based on communications from third parties and contractual obligations.
• Communicate with patients regarding account balances, payment collections, and payment plan arrangements.
• Coordinate with the front desk to monitor patient schedules and payment arrangements.
• Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and managing returned mail.
• Handle incoming queries from insurance carriers and patients concerning billing and payment inquiries.
