Python / JavaScript Developer

Summary

:

• To scale up our services we are looking for a Security Automation Developer to provide services to our Cyber Security Services organization. This role will join the existing Automation Development team and participate in designing and delivering security automation to our infrastructure. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual familiar with information security concepts and automation coding & development.
• As part of this role, you will work on designing and coding orchestration and automation solutions supporting security of a global, large-scale virtualization. Your skills and experience will help to enhance and maintain security controls for the existing virtualization environments and define controls for newly designed environments. You should be fluent with coding in Python and JavaScript, as well as use of GIT and RESTful APIs.
• Provide solutions and processes in accordance with audit initiatives and requirements and consult with Business Information Security officers (BISOs) and TISOs.
• Exhibit in-depth understanding of engineering concepts and principles
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the business, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a developer role
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Proven track record of operational process changes and improvement
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, JIRA Software & JIRA Confluence
• 5+ years of experience with Python and JavaScript and Java
• Experience with GIT
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience with MongoDB experience is a plus
• Experience with VMware orchestration technology (vRO/vRA) is a plus

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or a related field), or equivalent work experience
