Job Title
Responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of financial operations. Interface with Shops / Trades, Subcontractors and Customers to schedule and coordinate checkpoints for all Company tests and inspections performed within the yard or off-site. Revise, monitor, maintain and closeout Test and inspection plans / records / Objective Quality Evidence. Scan, identify Test and Inspections Reports, paint appendices, records, and file under appropriate availability folders. Generate and send out status reports as required by contract and company requirements. Assist in the review of final package submittals for customer requirements. Ensure all customer required inspection and documentation is reviewed, completed, and submitted as required. Works with QA and Production management to generate, identify trends, address root cause, corrective actions and reply to any HII CPARs or nonconformance's in a timely manner. Assist in maintaining internal daily records. Understand and act upon instruction. Work independently to complete responsibilities. Must have regular, reliable attendance. Draft and maintain the Required Report indices for all required contracts. Submit and track Required Reports, including access to Govt reporting systems. Request drawing and documents from outside sources, including Government. Oversee document control, including issuance of drawings and work specifications. Submit, receive, and track customer surveys. Compile data for review. Provide various elements of administrative and logistical support for the department. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications : Must have an associate degree in related field or 3 years experience in Data Entry, Quality Assurance, or other related fields. Must be able to read and understand specifications, drawings, and technical documents. Must have good communication skills. Must be able to type 50-60 words a minute. Must have ability to multitask, well organized and work within critical time constraints. Must be familiar with MS applications, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Power Point. Must be able to receive access to appropriate Government databases and systems. Must be able to take direction and work independently.
Travel Requirements : Minimal Travel; 10% or less.
Physical Requirements : Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods. Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time. Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Communicating with others to exchange information. Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
