CDL-A Truck Driver

Advantage Personnel is looking for a CDL-A Truck Driver for a family-owned company in Lincoln, NE that hauls aggregate, sand, and dirt. This is local driving between Lincoln and Omaha. The hours are Monday through Friday 5:00am-5:00pm. The pay starts at $20.00/hour. You must be able to drive an 11 speed and/or 13 speed manual shifts.

CDL-A Driver Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport aggregate, sand, and dirt to designated location
• Inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as company rules and procedures
• Maneuver truck into loading and unloading position
• Report defects, accidents and/or violations
• Required overtime once hired on

CDL-A Driver Requirements and Qualifications

• Preference given to truck and pup trailer experience
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to follow directions
• Must be able to work independently
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Must have current CDL-A, motor vehicle registration, and medical certification
