Position Highlights :

  • Department : Medical Group Clinic
  • Schedule : Full Time, Day Shift, Monday - Friday, Flexible Start Times
  • Compensation : Hourly Position
  • Sign-On Bonus : $6,000.00 (Inquire for details)

Job Summary :

As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, or psychosocial deficits. Your expertise will empower patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess patients' abilities to perform daily living skills and create tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement treatment plans using appropriate modalities and document patient progress effectively.
  • Educate patients and their families about care plans and provide guidance for discharge and adaptive equipment.
  • Oversee care provided by support staff according to established standards.
  • Maintain vigilance and safety in all interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

    • Qualifications :

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate) needed for state licensure.
  • No prior experience required.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Constant standing, frequent walking, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Good hearing and vision essential for patient interaction and monitoring.
  • Occasional driving and other physical activities as needed.

    • Licensure and Certifications :

    Must obtain Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification within 90 days of employment. Licensure in your practice state is required.

    Work Shift :

    Day Shift (United States of America)

    Weekly Hours : 40
