Dishwashing And Industrial Pot Washing Services

Age Requirement: 16 years or older

Position Summary

Responsible for performing dishwashing and industrial pot washing services while promoting and exhibiting World Class Guest Service to all the Isleta Resort and Casino employees and guests.

Must perform heavy-duty cleaning and preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment and facility. Is responsible for following the correct handling and management of all chemicals.

Isleta Resort and Casino Guest Service Agreement

All Team Members will display 100% commitment to World Class Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of Guest Service Standards established by the Isleta Resort and Casino.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Performs physical deep cleaning of all stationary and non-stationary equipment including floors and drains and physical handling of all cleaning chemicals as directed.
• Performs inventory duties as needed.
• Maintains the chemical storage areas.
• Tracks equipment and floor cleaning schedules.
• Reports equipment in need of repair to the Supervisor.
• Reports work related injuries to the Shift Supervisor.
• Ensures safety and sanitation laws pertaining to deep cleaning of all equipment are strictly adhered to.
• Promotes and ensures an open and welcoming atmosphere that promotes skill enhancement.
• Greets internal and external guests, maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
• May be required to prepare food and serve guest in certain venues.
• Occasionally performs other duties as assigned.
• Trains others in all HDCS related duties
• Maintains the standards for guest service as established for the company and for the HDCS position.
• Occasionally performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma and/or General Educational Degree (GED) equivalent, preferred.
• Three (3) months industrial dishwashing experience, preferred.
• Three (3) months chemical handling experience, preferred

Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certification

• Must be able to acquire and maintain Gaming License issued through POIGRA.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
• Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any days/hours as needed or required to meet business needs.
• Must maintain all Isleta Resort and Casino-wide educational and certification requirements.
• May be required to obtain a Food Handlers license if working in certain venues.

• Must be able to take direction and feedback well.
• Must be able to read and understand MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) as required by OSHA.
• Must be able to accurately and successfully perform several tasks and meet deadlines under high levels of stress and with minimal supervision.
• Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to communicate, in writing and verbally, in English and in an effective, informative, and professional manner and be able to convey denials and/or defuse hostile guest situations with ease and tact.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematics.
• Must possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity and respect for individuals.
• Must possess and exhibit a positive attitude towards internal and external guests at all times.
• Must possess a strong commitment to the organizational goals and objectives while showing the utmost discretion and loyalty to the organization when dealing with confidential information and data.
• Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to multi-task when working in certain venues that require cooking, dishwashing and heavy-duty cleaning.

Physical Demands and Work Environment.

• Must be able to regularly lift, move, push, pull, and/or manipulate heavy objects weighting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to regularly bend, stoop, and crawl.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Must be able to constantly walk and/or stand for extended periods of time.

Working Conditions:

Work is generally performed in, both, a Casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level, and exposure to various lights and sounds. Possible expose to hazards, Blood Borne Pathogens, and unusual elements such as: dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Moderate exposure to dangers and physical risks that may require the use of personal protective equipment (PEP) and may occasionally be required to interact with hostile and/or angry guests.
