Senior Process Engineer

The Senior Process Engineer plays a key role in defining, executing and completing projects that successfully meet the clients requirements and expectations. The Process Engineer collects and prepares data / information and performs detailed engineering calculations that are consistent with commonly employed engineering practices. The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for the basic process design of unit operations and preparation of engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Documented design basis and process description
• Process simulation models (using HYSYS)
• Block Flow Diagrams
• Process Flow Diagrams
• Heat and Material Balances
• P&ID development
• Material Selection Diagrams / Tables
• Hydraulic calculations
• Sizing information for process equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, separators, reactors, etc.) provided in the form of equipment data sheets
• Design and sizing of safety relief devices
• Should be comfortable in interfacing with the clients, visiting clients facilities and performing physical work such as walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing stairs / ladders.
