JOB TITLE : Hydronics Service Technician

JOB PURPOSE :

The role of the Hydronics Service Technician will help to service systems for high-end custom residential and commercial clients. At Energy 1, our passion is to Demand Better. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• This position will report to the Service Manager and will serve as a critical member of the construction team. Specific job duties :
• Provide installation and service of geothermal heating systems, boilers, furnaces, and other mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in relation to hydronic equipment as well as other mechanical heating and cooling equipment along with being able to perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing of equipment assuring efficient operation.
• Read plans, communicate with the construction team, and perform other related duties.
• Apply standard / best practices of the various trades.
• Keep job site clean and organized.
• Apply building codes, ordinances, and regulations of State and Local authorities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to : talk and hear others both physically present and on the telephone; sit and stand; move, use hands to operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects over 50 pounds.
