Job Description:
The Bourbon Group, one of Salt Lake Citys most beloved brands, is currently seeking Server Assistants to join our downtown teams!

Our mission is to help our guests by curating a dine-in experience that brings people together around the table to enjoy great cuisine and cocktails featuring some of the largest spirits collections in the country.

Our menu highlights our craft kitchen items, prepared using locally sourced ingredients. We also feature a full bar that includes an impressive selection of wine and craft beers.

The Bourbon Group Server Assistant position is committed to creating an exceptional dining experience for every guest. Server Assistants should be warm and welcoming promoting a comfortable drinking and dining environment. Server Assistants are always on time and prepared for their shift. They go out of their way to please the guest and are never inconvenienced by special requests. Server Assistants must communicate clearly with diners to meet their needs and display extensive knowledge of the menu and products. The Server Assistant is expected to promote teamwork by cooperating with management and collaborating whenever possible with other team members.

Job Summary

• Full-Time Server Assistant $5.00/hour + Tips (average $15-$20/hour)

Responsibilities

• Follows all policies and procedures
• Completes all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
• On-time and attends all shift meetings
• Follows all health and alcohol beverage service standards
• Delivering food and beverages
• Maintain a working knowledge of food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time
• Maintain a clean workspace, adhering to food safety sanitation and safety guidelines
• Communicate customer orders to kitchen staff
• Clear and sanitizing tables
• Ensuring that all guests leave happy

Qualifications

• Current Utah Food Handler is required within 30 days of hire
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellence guest relations skills
• High guest satisfaction expectations and focus
