[job_card.job_description]Work Safely at all times including proper LOTO of machines and use of proper PPE Promote 5S maintenance & improvements Be a positive role model to the team Make necessary and / or routine machine adjustments and to repair molding or related equipment in an effort to provide continuous production To sample any and all new molds for production. To complete tooling changes that change the type / style of production. To maintain equipment daily as product condition dictates and make necessary adjustments to correct defects detected in production and unfreezing machines To change or repair any machine part (s) which need to be replaced or as directed by the department manager To provide routine servicing of machines as directed by the department manager Responsible for following all safety rules and regulations and all procedures Responsible for start-up and shut down of all molding equipment daily Filling out all necessary paperwork properly and in a timely fashion. Able to set up and operate robots Responsible for knowing how to operate all line machines and equipment in order to understand their function and repair them Responsible for knowing and identifying all different styles of caps and their codes (i.e. S, RS, RM, RMX) Responsible for making tooling changes (size) within a reasonable amount of time (this includes : cutters, feeders, glues, hoppers, conveyors, and etc) Be RESULTS oriented using visual KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) Be multi-skilled to support team members as needed Develop and follow the standardized work instructions to minimize machine downtime, Seek out assistance from department supervisor / manager / team leaders as required Support and participate in continuous improvement efforts Be a good listener and understand issues before coming up with solutions (root cause analysis) Familiar with operation of Fanuc, and Star equipment. JOB TYPE : Full-time WAGE PER HOUR : $23 - $25 per hour, depends on experience. IS THERE A SHIFT PREMIUM? Yes, +$2.00 per hour when working 6 : 45pm to 7 : 00am HOURS PER WEEK : 40+ OVER TIME : Yes EXPECTED OVER TIME : Guaranteed OT 2 hours per week and additional OT as needed. WORKWEEK : Sunday-Saturday SCHEDULE : This is a 3 / 2 / 3 schedule with every other weekend off SHIFTS : - Night shift : 6 : 45pm – 7 : 00am CAN THEY WORK EXTRA DAYS : Yes HOW OFTEN WILL THEY WORK EXTRA DAYS : 1 maybe more. WILL THEY WORK WEEKENDS : Every other weekend is off. PAYMENT DAYS : Weekly on Thursday PAYMENT TYPE : Both check and direct deposit BREAK TIMES : Three paid 15 min breaks per shift and 1 / 2 lunch unpaid break. JOB START DATE : asap Experience with plastic injection mold set-up preferred; Engel and / or Husky presses; hot runner molds preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA guidelines and a sharp focus on safety. Operate all equipment in a safe and effective manner. Computer experience with focus on data entry, handheld computers Ability to differentiate color including multiple and varying shades of same or similar colors. Proactive troubleshooter and problem solver. Processing experience. Tactful, courteous, polite, and professional team player. Good interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills along with the ability to effectively multi-task with patience and tenacity. A high level of trustworthiness and the ability to achieve integrity on all levels. Professional image; neat clean uniforms. Self-motivated and self-disciplined. Ability and willingness to work in other areas of production, as well as overtime when needed. Willingness to work shifts, OT if necessary EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Yes IF YES, WHAT EXPERIENCE : Manufacturing experience IS HE REQUIRED TO SUPERVISE OTHER WORKERS : No, they will be supervised by an engineer on site. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : While performing the duties, prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Lifting of up to 30 pounds above shoulder height. Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts. May need to walk varying distances, climb stairs, and bend. ENGLISH LEVEL REQUIREMENTS : Preferred, but not obligatory. MUST ATTEND JOB TRAINING : Yes, training will be approx. 6 months, possibly longer. TYPE OF UNIVERSITY DEGREE DESIRED : Technical school or 2-year technical degree preferred. Mechanical, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, etc. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT : 40lbs. Employer will provide with a flight from the place of recruitment to the place of employment, and then deduct from pay and reimburse at day 90. The employee could pay for it and the employer would reimburse after 90 days of employment. AIRPORT OF ARRIVAL : Burlington PAID FLIGHT HOME : - TN Mexicans : At the end of the Visa period for TN workers. 4 years expected; and - US Citizen : Not provided, it is a permanent position. TRAVEL FOOD EXPENSE COVERED : Yes, up to $30 USD per day of travel. Keep receipts. MEAL UPON ARRIVAL : Yes GROCERY STIPEND : Yes, one-time $100 stipend. Yes, employer provides bus to and from place of employment to the housing. ADDITIONAL TRANSPORTATION : Urban area, public transportation is available including Uber, Taxi, etc WORKER COMPENSATION INSURANCE : Yes 401K : Yes HEALTHCARE INSURANCE : Medical, dental and vision first of the month after hired. PAID HOLIDAYS : Yes, eligible immediately. VACATION TIME : New employees receive up to 80 hours of prorated PTO time the first year available to use after 90 days, on January 1 new employees are frontloaded 80 hours of PTO time to use through the year. ADDITIONAL BONUSES : Eligible for quarterly production bonus if plant objectives are met. HOUSING OPTION : Employer secures housing for 6 months and then worker has to secure own housing, could be at the same location or somewhere else. HOUSING TYPE : we will assist with finding housing and help offset cost for up to 6 months. NUMBER OF UNITS : 12 INDIVIDUAL OR SHARED ROOMS : Single occupancy bedroom and bathroom, kitchen will be shared with 4 other workers. RENT PER PERSON : subsidized, employee will pay $400.00 per month, employer will cover the rest for all time employed. Might be deducted from paycheck. UTILITIES INCLUDED : Yes – all. FURNISHING : comes with bed, dresser. Wi-Fi : Yes CABLE TV : Cable is available, but employees will need to provide their own TV. LAUNDRY : Yes, coin operated. OTHER : Gym in housing, Laundry on site but does cost, cable is available, but they will need to provide their own TV. NEARBY AMENITIES : Grocery, Dollar store, restaurant all within walking location, can use taxi (not provided) DISTANCE HOUSING TO WORKPLACE : 2 miles
