At least 2 years ED experience for contract labor BLS / ACLS / PALS / TNCC for contract labor Adaptability Strong communication skills with patients and peers Strong assessment skills Dependability and punctuality Strong critical thinking skills Strong understanding of medical terminology (department coordinators) List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Trauma Stroke Care Laceration repair Orthopedic trauma U / S IV insertion IO insertion Eye exam EKG Psychiatric care Cardiopulmonary care REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS : BLS / ACLS / PALS / TNCC preferred (must for contract labor) Nice to have HCA, Travel, Meditech experience
