Taylor County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Constable Deputy . This law enforcement position will primarily operate at the Taylor County Juvenile Justice Center. Normal hours will be Monday - Friday, daytime hours.
This law enforcement position will primarily operate at the Taylor County Juvenile Justice Center.
A Deputy Constable must be at least 21 years old and hold a peace officer license under Chapter 1701, Occupations Code, from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. Criminal history and background investigations will be conducted on all applicants.
This Deputy Constable Position will involve ongoing Juvenile Justice Training.

All applicants must have 1-2 years of experience in law enforcement. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus
Starting Salary : $61,774.00 + benefits
(Inc. health, dental, life, retirement, vacation / sick leave)
