As a Medical Assistant, you play an important role working with our physicians, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care and has a positive experience during their time at Ascentist Healthcare. You will help maintain a professional office environment with strong communication skills as you collaborate with your team to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Rooming patients and preparing them for their visit
• Collecting and documenting medical history and vital signs
• Chart prepping and maintaining accurate patient records
• Assisting providers during in-office procedures
• Preparing patients and procedure rooms ahead of treatments
• Submitting prior authorizations as needed
• Supporting clinic operations and ensuring a smooth patient flow

Job Type : Full-time

Locations : Kansas City, MO

Schedule : 8-9hr Days / 5 Days per Week, No Weekends

Experience : Minimum of one year substantially similar work experience in a medical setting, performing substantially similar Medical Assistant essential functions
