Industrial Painter

Snelling is searching for an exceptional Industrial Painter in the Trussville, AL area. Painter will be responsible for manually moving parts through the painting, flashing, and drying sections of the paint system.

Pay rate: $22.00-30.00/hr.

1st & 2nd Shift Openings!

Tasks and Responsibilities for Industrial Painter:
Responsible for the entire paint process including but not limited to:
mixing paints and solvents according to manufacturer's specifications
application of liquid paint to meet specifications using electrostatic and traditional paint guns
assuring those parts reside in the flashing and drying sections of the paint system for the specified time
inspection of work and correction to work as necessary
periodic cleaning/flushing of paint/solvent delivery systems as required
Assist as needed in all areas of the paint line operation

Skills/Experience Required for Industrial Painter:
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform strenuous repetitive work for 8-10 hours a day
Ability to work while wearing respirator and protective clothing
Must pass pulmonary function test and respirator fit test
Should possess an attention to detail and desire to produce high quality parts
Vocational training in industrial/automotive painting or 1 year experience in this field
