job_description.job_card.job_descriptionSterilizing dental instruments and equipment for each patient. Organizing and laying out instruments for dentist's use, handing instruments and other materials to dentist during procedures. Taking and developing x-rays into the system and taking impressions for casts. Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures. Proficiently make temporary crowns and bridges. Obtaining patients' dental records. Questioning patients about their medical history and recording information for dentist's reference. Advising patients on dental care and making patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment. Perform lab duties such as pouring models,fabricating whitening trays, night guards and retainers. Set up rooms for all operative procedures and turn over room in efficient manner. Seat patients and obtain consents. Able to send cases to dental labs, properly enter into software with accurate return date giving enough time for proper turn around. Excellent customer service skills and effective communicating skills Team player and enthusiastic attitude Be caring and friendly Eager to learn and can adapt quickly Ability to be proactive and ability to take initiative Great computer and organizational skills, as well as ability to multi-task Must be able to talk and listen to patients Must be able to work at a fast pace Experience in a dental office required Able to make temporary crowns and bridges Ability to present and close treatment plans(when needed) Experience with Dentrix
