POSITION SUMMARY : This position requires extensive travel to support operational and client needs. Reporting to the Manager of Installation Services, the Quality Control Manager (QCM) serves as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact to ensure store readiness for client openings. The QCM provides full oversight of assigned installation teams, fosters strong customer relationships, delivers hands-on training on equipment usage, and resolves post-installation or remodel issues—all to uphold the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
- Manage, organize and oversee duties of national installation teams.
- Manage and schedule timely rental equipment arrival to jobsite to help teams efficiently complete workload.
- Serves as an information conduit between directional leadership team of installation, Installation Teams, Sales Team, and Customers.
- Serve as the onsite Supervisor in the absence of an onsite Supervisor, as business dictates.
- Ensure and continuously review budgets are being met
- Provide hands-on training to clients on the proper operation of installed equipment.
- Perform site inspections to confirm accurate equipment placement and compliance with quality control standards.
- Serve as the primary contact for store openings and warranty-related service requests.
- Be present onsite during store openings to conduct final quality inspections and ensure operational readiness.
- Monitor craftsmanship to ensure all work aligns with manufacturer guidelines and Devon’s quality standards; give feedback to Installation teams as needed.
- Mentor and support Road Crew Supervisors and their crews through ongoing training and professional development.
- Works as an OSHA and safety champion to enforce policy and industry safety standards maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
1–3 years of hands-on, supervisory experience in automotive services product installation.Proven track-record of quality construction methods, materials, and principles of project management.Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle insurance eligibility requirements.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with proven ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments.Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team setting.Knowledge of quality assurance practices in the Automotive services industry and health and safety regulations.Willingness and ability to travel extensively as required by the role.Must possess or obtain international travel documents.Proficient in basic math, reading, and writing comprehensionFlexible work from home options available.
