Job Overview

A leading commercial drywall contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Finisher Supervisor to oversee drywall finishing crews and field operations across multiple job sites. This position is ideal for professionals with a hands-on leadership style, exceptional organizational skills, and deep expertise in drywall finishing. The role will involve coordinating labor, monitoring productivity, enforcing safety standards, and working closely with project managers to ensure high-quality, on-time project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all drywall finishing operations company-wide for commercial projects
• Lead finisher crews and subcontractors to ensure "ready for paint" standards
• Assign tasks, manage daily workflows, and track field productivity
• Coordinate labor and equipment needs across multiple job sites
• Monitor job costs and maintain work within budget parameters
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure PPE compliance
• Complete daily progress reports, including documentation of signed work orders
• Manage subcontractor scheduling, payment draws, and documentation
• Collaborate with project managers on extras, change orders, and communications with general contractors
• Maintain accurate tool inventory and oversee tool maintenance
• Conduct employee evaluations and help recruit subcontractors and hourly workers

Qualifications

• Experience supervising drywall finishing in commercial construction
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and job specifications
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and manage field operations efficiently
• Bi-Lingual in Spanish is required
• Comfortable performing finish work when necessary
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required

Schedule

• Full-Time, Monday to Friday
