SUMMARY : This position will be responsible for the execution of Learning initiatives. Support includes the delivery of leadership development courses and skills training for plant Team Members; day 1 and beyond orientation; OJT training; measuring the learner experience; launching and collecting surveys to solicit feedback; ongoing identification of improvement opportunities; implement feedback. This position will interact regularly with HR and operations, as well as other management support and hourly Team Members.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

REQUIREMENTS :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.  Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education.

Experience : 2 years of relevant experience in learning, training, organizational development or other related area. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Computer Skills : Advanced computer skills.

Communication Skills : Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required.  Team members must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization.

Special Skills : Extensive Operations and Manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work with all levels of Team Members and develop positive and strong business partner relationships. Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.

Supervisory : None.

Travel : 1-5 domestic trips per year.

Any listed amounts represent the base pay range. Additional compensation may be available for this position based on various factors such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Pay is just one part of Tyson’s total compensation package.
