Space Vector Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate across multiple disciplines throughout all phases of product development and testing for key aerospace programs. Responsibilities include circuit design, analysis, board layout, hardware debugging, and testing, with a primary focus on Battery Management Systems (BMS) and related test equipment.
This position works with general oversight, may mentor junior engineers, and may manage large projects or processes within or beyond the immediate job area.
Responsible for architecting, designing, developing, modifying, evaluating and integrating electronic equipment, electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for complex, high performance hardware systems. Determines the design approaches and parameters. Analyzes electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. May use high level programming language to configure programmable logic devices. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability and operational characteristics that may impact system performance and or sustainability. May review vendor capability to support development. Applies specialized skill sets to includ digital, FPGA, DSP, CCA, power, antenna, RF and control systems knowledge as required. May develop, design, and assess the methodologies and performance of specialized algorithms for radar, communications, sonar, geophysical, and other sensor processing applications.

Nature of Supervision
Work is guided by individual annual goals and objectives with minimal oversight or direction. Frequently responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees across the Company within area of expertise. Frequently responsible for managing large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-functional teams.

Education & Experience
Requires comprehensive level knowledge of job area. May have in-depth knowledge of project management. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role $125,000 - $232,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
