Job Description :

The Implementation Specialist will support research project operations for Project SUSTAIN : Sustaining Special Education Teachers by Improving Working ConditionsA Collaborative Intervention Development and Investigation of Promise a four-year research study (July 2024- June 2028) funded by the Institute of Education Sciences. Special educators have long experienced challenging working conditions inhibiting their capacity to effectively serve students with disabilities and leading to high attrition rates. Though these problems have long been documented to date no interventions have been developed to systematically address Project SUSTAIN we are developing and testing an intervention to improve special educators working conditions. This is a time-limited position.

Responsibilities :

• Lead participant recruitment and implementation for one or more participating districts depending on district size and location.
• Lead data collection for one or more participating districts depending on size and location.
• Supporting project team with district relationship management.
• Support project team with intervention adaptation.
• Support dissemination efforts.

37.5 hours per week. Exact days and times per week are negotiable as long as they occur between Monday and Friday 8am to 5pm excepting when participants require support outside of those hours. There are no schedule variations required.

Expected Salary : $60000 - $75000
