We have an immediate opening for a part-time / weekend Medical Assistant to join our Fairfax, VA office. The schedule is every other Saturday and Sunday rotating shifts from 6 : 15 am - 12 : 00 pm and 7 : 30 am - 1 : 00 pm.

How You'll Contribute :

We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general Medical Assistant is responsible for :

Responsibilities include :

• High volume of phlebotomy
• Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations
• Assists with the clinical care of fertility patients
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs
• Provides patient / couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
• Provides pre and post op education
• Perform semen washes and sets up for IUIs
• Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance
• Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families
• Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved
• Support and promote excellence in customer service
