An Accounting Clerk takes part in servicing our guests around our beautiful Hotel and you'll be part of a great team of helpful people who are passionate about delivering exceptional service. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in an extremely high level of guest satisfaction. An Accounting Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate billing and timely collection of revenue owed to the hotel, in accordance with established accounting policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Abilities :

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Always maintain a professional appearance and manner. Must be willing to 'pitch-in' and be a team player. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to compile facts and figures. Ability to use personal computers and calculators. Telephone etiquette skills needed.

Qualification Standards :

Education : High School graduate or equivalent required

Experience : Finance and Accounting experience preferred. Some work experience in related field preferred.

You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and / or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.

Safety & Security :

The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
