🕒 Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

📅 Contract Duration: March 2, 2026 – May 30, 2026

💰 Pay Rate: Local: $2200 & Travel: $2500/ weekly

📌 Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week

🩺 Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support operating room services at Mount Sinai Hospital. The Surgical Technician will assist with scrub and circulating duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring patient safety, sterile technique, and efficient surgical workflows.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub and circulating functions following established OR protocols
• Maintain sterile field, perform surgical scrub, gowning, and gloving
• Prepare and organize instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures
• Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs
• Maintain accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, specimen handling, and room turnover
• Support medication preparation under RN supervision per policy
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and hospital policies

✅ Requirements:

• CST Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience (Required)
• CVOR experience (Required)
• High School Diploma (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited CST training program
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment
