HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your Role:

• Coordinates the design process for renovation and construction projects at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH).
• Oversees and manages construction and/or remodeling projects for TMH properties.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Works with Plant Engineering (PE, department 8060) and the skilled trades to request and maintain permits, Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM), and Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA).
• Assists with finances (including soliciting bids and reviewing invoices).
• Coordinates owner-direct purchasing.
• Ensures standards are maintained.
• Serves as a system administrator for building plans (including the workflow associated with issuing and tracking plans under revision).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field. Human Resources (HR) may substitute applicable, relevant job experience on a 1-year:1-year basis for the required education, in addition to the minimum required experience below.

Required Experience:

• Five (5) years of design, construction, and/or maintenance experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a health care facilities construction role.
