The Nephrology Physician specializes in the treatment and care of kidney-related conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This role involves performing renal biopsies, managing dialysis procedures, and providing specialized care for patients with complex nephrological issues. Candidates must have board certification in Pediatric Nephrology, a minimum of three years of experience, and licensure requirements that include an IMLC license.

Contract Length : 1 year

Schedule : Clinic Mon Thu 8 am 5 pm; Inpatient call 8 am 8 am

Work Details :

  • Amount of Coverage needed per month : 3 weeks Outpatient Clinic, weekly Inpatient call consists of 8 hours of rounding in the hospital and night call during the week, and 24hour call on weekends.
  • Special procedures : Renal biopsies in Sedation Services, CRRT, hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis (Inpatient Services)
  • Skills required : Apheresis, CRRT, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis (Inpatients)

Practice Setting

  • EMR : EPIC
  • Board Certification : Required
  • License required : OH will license a provider with an IMLC license
  • Certifications required : ABP (American Board of Pediatrics) Board Certification in Pediatric Nephrology
  • Minimum experience required : 3 years
