Physical Therapist

We are looking for a talented Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team this school year.

• 4 hours per week

Hourly Rate Range: $40.00 - $62.00 per hour

Responsibilities would include:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ motor function, mobility, and physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans.
• Provide direct physical therapy services to improve gross motor skills, posture, balance, coordination, and mobility.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into the school environment.
• Recommend and implement adaptive equipment, positioning strategies, and classroom modifications.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) and IDEA guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Train and support teachers and staff on movement strategies, mobility support, and accessibility accommodations.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate (DPT) or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Ohio Physical Therapy Licensure (issued by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board).
• Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) Approval as a Related Service Provider (or ability to obtain).
• Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
