Responsibilities
Tenant Relations
Maintain strong relationships with tenants to ensure high satisfaction and service delivery
Serve as point of contact to address questions, issues, and service needs
Vendor & Subcontractor Management
Coordinate day-to-day work with vendors, building engineers, and internal staff
Recommend services for maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, etc.
Obtain bids, prepare specs, and assist with contract decisions
Maintain accurate contract documentation
Financial & Budget Oversight
Monitor property-related operating expenses
Review and approve invoices
Assist with annual budget development
Conduct site inspections to support budgeting needs
Building Operations
Oversee daily property functions and ensure buildings are properly maintained
Conduct regular walkthroughs to confirm service quality
Monitor work order systems and ensure timely completion
Serve as on-call contact for emergency building needs
Team & Staff Support
Support recruitment, training, and performance management of onsite staff
Help ensure team members are trained and aligned with organizational goals
Partner with HR on development initiatives
Administrative Support
Oversee vendor contract compliance, renewals, and file maintenance
Assist with due-diligence activities as needed
Help coordinate property tours for prospective tenants
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; relevant industry certifications (BOMA, IREM) a plus
5+ years of experience in a related field; commercial property management preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn company-specific systems
Strong customer service mindset and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to problem-solve and manage competing priorities
Understanding of building systems and operational needs preferred
Comfortable being on-call for occasional after-hours emergencies
Leadership experience strongly preferred
