Responsibilities of the Controller
The Controller will develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.Analyze and update cost structures and manufacturing standards.Allocate costs to determine accurate product margins.Collaborate with plant leadership to identify cost savings and trends.Ensure financial reporting accuracy and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and company policies.Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.Evaluate capital expenditures and assess ROI.Lead and mentor the accounting team.Support financial analysis for projects and process changes as needed.Requirements for the Controller
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMBA, CMA, or CPA preferred6+ years of manufacturing accounting experience3+ years in a leadership role, including plant or manufacturing controllershipProficiency in SAP or similar software is requiredAdvanced Excel#ZRCFS
