[job_card.job_description]Duties : Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, root planning and scaling, and polishing teeth Take x-rays Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software (Dentrix) Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean dental office environment Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Valid dental hygiene license in WV Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus Familiarity with medical documentation and electronic health records systems Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate patient assessment.
