Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.
We are actively seeking a Residential Program Manager with the in Pflugerville, TX . The Program Manager leads a team to provide person-centered care tailored to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This person will support teams with day-to-day operations and challenges to achieve programmatic goals.

Responsibilities
Lead and train teams to support programmatic initiatives, goals, daily routines, and the uniqueneeds of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffedProvide training on daily routines including cleaning, cooking established meal plans, feeding,medication administration, and maintaining personal hygiene
Manage team performance through effective communication, training, performancemanagement, staff meetings, and employee recognition
Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculumDevelop and update Individual Support Plans (ISP) / Person-Centered Plans (PCP) with aninterdisciplinary team to include any concerns, observations, and behavioral developments
Ensure individuals are supported per their ISP / PCP including medication management, mealplanning, and behavior management
Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timelyAssist with monitoring the finances of individuals ensuring purchases are approved andaccounted for with documentation
Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and immediately report any concernsMay be required to fill shifts when staffing issues ariseEmployees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry orinvestigation
Minimum Requirements
HS Diploma / GED required.Complete all state and agency required training per state guidelinesExperience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilitiesKnowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual developmental disabilitiesTeam-Oriented with demonstrated leadership experienceValid Driver's LicenseEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background,central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
Working Conditions :
Work in residential programs, day programs, and in the communitySchedule may change due to business needs and may include evening and weekend hoursMay be required to be on-call in cooperation with other management staffFrequent lifting, stretching, and other physical exertion may be requiredMay be required to transport individuals utilizing your own vehicle or company providedvehicles
