As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

DayTime Wed 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Fri 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Sun 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, noting any unusual conditions and reporting them as needed.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, helping to maintain controlled entry to the location.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to address concerns and provide information related to security-related matters.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and site management to support a secure environment in the tech, media, and telecom location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
