Must-Have :

Previous experience with orthopedics (total joints)

DaVinci Robot experience

Neuro experience (craniotomy, spinal surgery)

Description :

The surgical tech will be responsible for assisting in a variety of surgical procedures.

Previous experience in orthopedics, neuro surgery, and robotics is essential.

The position entails working night shifts from 18 : 30 to 07 : 00.

Candidates should possess strong skills in aseptic technique and trauma protocols.

Flexibility to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays is required.

No on-call shifts or weekend work is required for this position.

The candidate will not float between departments or facilities.

The surgical tech should be proficient with charting systems, specifically Epic.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to ensure effective patient care.

Applicants should provide a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty.

The facility specializes in a diverse range of surgical procedures including oncology, bariatrics, and general surgery.

A thorough understanding of patient demographics including neonates, adolescents, and geriatrics is necessary.

Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment due to high patient census levels.

Experience with advanced surgical technologies and techniques is preferred.
