MRI Technologist - Flexible Schedule, No Nights / Weekends / Holidays!

Join our dynamic imaging team as a Supplemental MRI Technologist and enjoy a flexible, day-shift schedule! This is the perfect opportunity for skilled technologists looking to pick up extra hours in a supportive and collaborative environment. Bring your expertise and passion for patient care to a team that values work-life balance and clinical excellence!

NWOS is closed all weekends and major holidays. No night shifts or on-call.

Travel between locations is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Monitors video display of the area being scanned and adjust density or contrast to improve picture quality
  • Explains the procedure to the patient and position and immobilize the patient on the exam table.
  • Uses radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and staff.
  • Reviews and evaluates computer generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Knowledge of modern office equipment including fax machines , copiers, scanners, document management software, Electronic Medical Record, medical software, word processing software
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy.
  • Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
  • Knowledge of common health insurance plans and benefits.

  • Day shift. No nights, no weekends, on-call, or major holidays.
