We are seeking a Production Equipment Support Supervisor to join our client’s dynamic and growing team. This is an on-site, direct hire opportunity with a leader in the Financial Technology industry. In this role, you will provide hands-on leadership and mechanical support to production mechanics, ensuring consistent production flow, minimal downtime, and timely equipment repairs. Provide direction, leadership, and mechanical support to all production mechanics as needed Monitor work in progress to ensure continuous production workflow and timely completion of equipment repairs Maintain parts inventory for all equipment, including identifying parts to be ordered, vendors, and associated costs Monitor preventive maintenance records and ensure maintenance is completed according to schedule Stay informed on new technology and equipment used by technical support and production operations teams Assume all management responsibilities in the Department Manager’s absence Meet or exceed Cost Per Unit targets on assigned shift, including labor costs, overtime, and inventory control Monitor and improve machine efficiency Coach, counsel, motivate, develop, and support technicians under direct supervision Verify all administrative work is completed accurately and in compliance with departmental procedures Maintain personnel records for direct reports Oversee approximately 15 to 20 direct reports and all production equipment used by technical support and production operations Communicate daily with senior management regarding strategic scheduling and operational issues Monitor daily throughput and equipment downtime reports and provide feedback to department personnel Qualifications Associate’s Degree or completion of a Technical or Trade School program Minimum of 5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of production equipment At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume production environment, including conducting performance reviews and leading teams Proven proficiency in the operation and repair of insertion and bindery equipment Electronic and electric circuit experience required Electrical and electronics repair experience is a plus Knowledge and experience with reporting tools such as Jet and IQ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Compensation Salary range : $75,000 to $80,000 annually (Depending on experience and qualifications) Work Schedule Monday through Friday, 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM Availability required as needed until 5 : 00 PM, as well as weekends and holidays based on production volume Benefits : Financial program resources 401(k) Spending and savings accounts Life and AD&D Commuter benefits Health insurance PTO By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
