About Quest International
Quest International provides nationwide field service, repair, and technical support for hospitals, surgical centers, laboratories, OEM partners, and enterprise organizations. For over 40 years, our technicians have supported A / V systems, electronic devices, electro-mechanical equipment, and medical support technology that directly impact clinical and operational performance.
We operate with a technician-first mindset, high accountability, and professional standards expected in regulated environments.
The Role (Read This First)
This is a hands-on, field-based service role supporting A / V systems, electronics, and electro-mechanical equipment across Florida.
This is not : IT helpdesk
Event A / V
Bench-only repair
This is real field service —on-site diagnostics, FRU-level repair, installation, and customer-facing technical support in hospitals and clinical facilities.
You’ll work independently, travel statewide, and be trusted to troubleshoot equipment that must work correctly the first time.
What You’ll Do
Install, troubleshoot, and repair A / V systems and electronic or electro-mechanical devices
Diagnose issues using digital multimeters and appropriate testing tools
Perform FRU-level part replacement and hardware repair
Install and configure displays, mounts, cabling, and low-voltage components
Route and terminate cabling (HDMI, USB, Coax, Cat5 / Cat6)
Document service activity, parts used, and outcomes accurately
Communicate professionally with hospital staff, clinical teams, and internal support
Travel statewide for scheduled and urgent service calls
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
Candidates must have :
2–3+ years of hands-on field experience with A / V, electronics, low-voltage, or electro-mechanical equipment
Proven use of diagnostic tools (multimeter, testers, hand tools)
Experience installing or servicing A / V equipment (mounting, wiring, configuration)
Working knowledge of HDMI, USB, Coax, Cat5 / Cat6 cabling
Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb, kneel, and work in confined spaces
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Comfort with frequent statewide travel
Important : This role requires real troubleshooting and repair experience.
Candidates limited to monitoring, basic install-only work, or non-technical A / V support will not be a fit.
Preferred Backgrounds (Not a Checklist)
CCTV or low-voltage systems
Hospital, clinical, or regulated environments
Electronics coursework, CompTIA A+, or similar certifications
Strong service documentation skills (Word, Excel, service notes)
Ideal Candidate Profile
You’ll succeed here if you :
Work well independently with minimal supervision
Are strong in electrical and mechanical problem-solving

Take ownership of your work and customer outcomes
