We’re seeking a Chief Financial & Strategy Officer to provide executive leadership across finance, budgeting, and operational strategy for a mission-driven public organization. This position functions as a key member of the executive team—overseeing financial planning, capital projects, and cross‑departmental initiatives that ensure fiscal strength, organizational efficiency, and long‑term sustainability.
Base pay range
$125,000.00 / yr - $160,000.00 / yr
Compensation & Benefits
Salary : $125,000–$160,000 annually, commensurate with experience. This range represents total compensation for the role; initial offers are expected near the midpoint.

Requirements
Master’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience, with at least 5 years in management—preferably in finance or operations leadership
Proven ability to lead long‑term financial planning, capital budgeting, and performance management
Experience overseeing accounting, procurement, contracts, and facilities within a complex or multi‑department environment
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing financial controls, process improvements, and enterprise‑level systems
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable strategy
Collaborative leadership style with the ability to build trust and alignment across departments and stakeholder groups
Preferred Qualifications
Public sector or nonprofit finance leadership experience
Background in data analytics, performance measurement, or organizational strategy
Familiarity with government accounting standards, capital project management, and procurement regulations
Experience supervising cross‑functional teams including finance, facilities, contracts, and community engagement functions
Track record of managing organizational change and driving continuous improvement
