We have a Class A Driver TEAMS opening in Corbin, KY for New CDL Graduates that have received their CDL License. We want the right driver to join us at Ryder.

\n \n6 - 9 Months Experience ask about our Extended Driver Development Program!\n \n

We have developed proficiency-based training with experienced facilitators. Drivers will receive 8 weeks of training focusing on all backing, close quarter maneuvers, practice doing short and longer runs and get paid while doing so. Gain hands-on experience from the finest instructors in the industry.

Ryder Employees who Drive on this account earn $1050 or more Weekly and it gets better

  • Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly

\n \n

  • Weekly Minimum Guarantee during training $1050 per week

    • \n \n

  • Weekly Minimum Guarantee after training $1715 per week

    • \n \n

  • Team Miles Pay :  $0.335 per Mile with 5000 Miles per Week

    • \n \n

  • Team Stops Pay :  $7.00 per Stop with 4 - 8 Stops per day

    • \n \n

  • Drop and Hook Pay : $6.00 per Drop / Hook

    • \n \n

  • Paid Training

    • \n \n

  • Schedule : Monday – Saturday Or Sunday - Friday

    • \n \n

  • Start Time : Must be Open to Bid System for Routes Based on Seniority

    Requirements

  • 9 months or less of CDL driving experience

    • \n \n

  • Minimum 21 years of age

    • \n \n

  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test

    • \n \n

  • Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

    • \n \n

  • Pass a DOT physical

    • \n \n

  • Pass a Ryder road test

    • \n \n

  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

    • \n \n

  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A

    • \n \n

  • Ability to :

    • \n \n

  • Follow written and / or oral instructions

    • \n \n

  • Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

    • \n \n\n

    \n

    Important Note : Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and / or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

    Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines

    • \n \n

  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

    • \n \n

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight

    • \n \n

  • Perform other duties as assigned

    • \n \n\n
