Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with oncology and telemetry experience for a night shift Med / Surg Tele Oncology position in Alabama.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital-based Oncology Med / Surg Telemetry unit
  • Primary focus on oncology patients requiring medical / surgical and telemetry care
  • Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Uses Meditech EMR system
  • Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules
  • Cardiac exam is required after offer acceptance, with a link sent within 48 hours and 24-hour completion deadline
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no mileage restrictions

    • Requirements

  • Active AL or compact RN license with no past or current disciplinary actions
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year recent within Med / Surg Tele or Oncology specialty
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Permanent or compact license in hand at time of consideration; no temporary or pending licenses accepted
