Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service at manufacturing, industrial, and utility locations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and support a secure environment for all personnel. This is a driving post. Pay Rate : $13.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Sat 07 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM Sun 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the premises in manufacturing and industrial or utilities locations.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the property to support security-related procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directing them as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and report any irregularities.
  • Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
  • Assist in implementing emergency response activities as required by site-specific policies and procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
