Duties

• You will facilitate the preparation for, response to, and recovery from any all-hazards incident or event, thereby minimizing operational "down time" with rapid shore-based response and restoration.
• You will direct, facilitate, and coordinate manpower, equipment and resources ashore during daily and crisis operations.
• You will Identify hazards and determines their relative probability of occurrence and associated consequence factors and performs a capability assessment to determine associated needs from capability shortfalls.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : Provides technical, analytical, and administrative support, to develop and maintain Region and installation-level EM plans that align with applicable plans, procedures, and policies of other Services and federal organizations and agencies; Researches, compiles, sorts, and evaluates information and data to determine its relevance and applicability to Regional EM requirements; Coordinates with existing assessments and integrates their findings into the final risk calculation; Identifies hazards and determines their relative probability of occurrence and associated consequence factors and performs a capability assessment to determine associated needs from capability shortfalls.
