Overview
The Senior Child Life Specialist position is responsible for mentoring staff in the provision of comprehensive, purposeful, developmentally appropriate, and culturally sensitive, family-centered care. This care is focused on meeting the psychosocial and developmental needs of children and families. Provides evaluation and therapeutic services, direct patient care and patient / family education, in an efficient manner. Services may include therapeutic play, preparation, procedural support, special events, and reintegration programming. The Child Life Specialist utilizes these practices in an effort to facilitate adaptive coping techniques and promote growth and development of the patient and family. Shriners Spokane is looking for a part time Senior Child Life Specialist to join our amazing team!
Schedule : Part time 0.3 FTE (in-person)
The pay range for this position is $24.50-$36.76 / hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
