Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical Surgical Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift Hours per Shift : 36.00 Experience : 2+ years of general medical surgical unit experience License : Current licensure by the state Board of Nursing Certifications : BLS certification from AHA Must-Have : Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel Description : Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides, delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Candidates may be asked to float to an acuity adaptable location. Every other weekend and every other holiday are required. Ability to float to a lockdown unit may be necessary.
